Osteoarticulations in Regina

Osteoarticulations are a combination of muscle energy techniques, specific adjusting techniques, general osteopathic treatment and assessments used to identify and correct priority lesions. Osteopathic therapy uses the client's own strength and precise positioning of joints to encourage the bones to realign naturally. We do not crack or pop but use the client's own strength combined with placing the joint in a precise opened position to encourage the bones to naturally go back into a position of ease and comfort. The goal is to bring the body into proper alignment for optimal biomechanical function. Osteoarticulations can be used to treat a variety of conditions, including pain, stiffness, and limited range of motion.

Osteopathic therapy can manage a range of conditions including:

  •    Neck and back pain

  •    Arthritis

  •    Sciatica

  •    Headaches

  •    Vertigo

  •    Repetitive strain and overuse injuries

  •    Pregnancy-related discomfort

  •    Tendonitis

  •    Sports injuries

Osteopathic therapy believes that there may be a musculoskeletal link in many conditions, making these alignment techniques helpful with a wider range of disorders.

Osteopathic therapy is a holistic approach that focuses on treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. Manual osteopathic therapists work with their patients to identify and address the underlying causes of illness or injury, rather than simply masking the symptoms. This integrative approach often leads to improved overall health and well-being.

If you are interested in osteoarticulations, please schedule an appointment at Divergent Therapy with our registered massage therapist and manual osteopathic therapist, Jessica Herbert by calling (306) 580 7796 or by booking online.

You will be moving around a bit as we are assessing and treating so wearing comfortable clothes that you are able to easily move in is best.

  • It is best if you can give an accurate picture of your health and injuries prior to starting osteoarticulation therapy. This enables your therapist to design the most appropriate and effective treatment for you without aggravating pre-existing injuries.
